In May, respectively in the cities of Siena and Naples, the finals of the Central and South heats of Witaly’s Emergente Sala Award were held, dedicated to the young professionals in hospitality. Olitalia, always extremely attentive to the value of the front of house, as important as the kitchen in the restaurant world, has already supported this initiative for a long time.
The winners of the Central Italy heat in Siena were Carlotta Cenedese from the Materiaprima Osteria Contemporanea in Pontinia (a town in the Lazio region in central Italy) and Gianmarco Panico from the Mirabelle Splendide Restaurant in Rome, while the winners of the South heat, that took place in Naples, were Alessandra Quattrocchi from the Ristorante Modi and Giuseppe Zuottolo from the L’Olivo Restaurant. They will meet again in the Capital on the 28th of October for the national grand final of Emergente Sala 2019.
