According to the latest market research conducted by NielsenIQ at the end of June 2024, Olitalia is once again confirmed as the ‘Favourite Brand of Italian Chefs’*.
The results of the research show that Olitalia, once again, is ranked number one among the favourite brands of Italian chefs. Moreover, the brand's leadership is also confirmed by other important indicators: Olitalia is by far the first brand that comes to mind spontaneously to the industry professionals, and it is also the brand with the highest retention compared to its competitors. In addition, Olitalia is the most frequently purchased and recommended brand of oil.
The research has also investigated a specific market segment: oils for frying and deep frying. Also in this segment, Olitalia appears to be the most frequently purchased brand and the preferred brand for frying with FRIENN, its frying oil.
The research has been carried out on a regular basis since 2014 and conducted using the C.A.T.I. methodology (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing), i.e. NielsenIQ administers a structured questionnaire to a representative sample of olive oil purchasing managers and decision-makers (restaurants, pizzerias, and hotels with kitchens) totalling 601 interviews.
